The i-vu is a Digital Magnifier unlike a domed glass or plastic magnifier. A glass or plastic magnifier will distort your image around the edge of the glass or plastic. With the i-vu Digital Magnifier the protected camera will transfer a clean and clear image to the 2 inch LCD screen.
For optimal viewing, the i vu's 2 inch LCD screen gives no distortion around the edges compared to the traditional hand held magnifiers. The addition of the inverse mode and freeze frame option allow for easier viewing and unique control of the image.
